Liverpool supporters on social media were vexed over Fulham and Huddersfield Town reportedly plotting bids for attacker Harry Wilson.

It was claimed by the Daily Mirror on Monday that the Premier League duo were both willing to pay up to £7million in order to sign the 21-year-old winger on a permanent basis.

This transfer report sent Reds fans dashing to Twitter in order to question the idea of not only selling Wilson but the valuation that other clubs had of him.

One supporter tweeted steal in all capital letters, while another was confused how the average journeyman could go for nearly double that amount but the young Wilson was only seen as being worth £7million.

Two fans even tried to suggest that the 21-year-old winger, who can also feature as an attacking midfielder, was worth above the £20million in today’s transfer market.

Wilson spent the second half of his 2017/18 campaign on loan at Championship side Hull City where he scored seven goals and registered seven assists in 13 outings.

While fans of the Merseyside giants were clearly unimpressed with the reported bids being plotted the newspaper did state that the Reds would rather he went out on loan than be sold.
