Some Liverpool fans on social media heaped praise on 21-year-old Sheyi Ojo for his performance during the 3-2 win over Tranmere on Tuesday.
The winger, who can play on either flank if needed, featured in the first-half of the pre-season game against the National League side and registered one assist as well as he got himself on the scoresheet during the victory.
Ojo’s display had several supporters raving about his potential with one stating that he was an absolute joy to watch during the match.
Live 4 Liverpool have rounded a selection of tweets by Reds fans about Ojo’s latest display for the club:
This kit is ????????????
Keep up those performances and you’ll be starting in no time you’ve been class so far this pre season.

Well played Sheyi, you were class. Not keen on the kit though, it’s not a colour I associate with @LFC I’m afraid.

Ojo playing well here. Tbf I've always liked him but for whatever reason it doesn't feel like he has a future with us. #LFC

Danny Ward current number one in my opinion. Ojo and Kent both have the ability to make a difference. Keita looks class but Fabinho moves around like a rolls Royce. Imagine him ahead of Virgil! #LFC

I know you shouldnt judge young players to quickly. But you see the touch from players like Ojo, Curtis Jones, Kent so on, they have that technique. Solanke just doesnt have the finesse to be a part of this Liverpool team. He defo needs a loan. #LFC

Ojo had a solid game against Chester during the Reds’ first pre-season friendly of the campaign and then was sensational against Tranmere Rovers on Tuesday. The 21-year-old looked powerful and strong with him seemingly able to do exactly what he wanted in the game and that there was nothing his opponents could do stop him. While he was playing lower-ranked opposition in his latest outing, it was hard not to get exciting about the potential he was showcasing. Clearly the winger learnt a lot while on loan at Fulham last season as he has clearly developed as a player and now looks capable of sticking around at Anfield this season. Ojo won’t be pushing for a first-team place just yet, but he could be a player capable of being worthy cover in case of injury crisis.
