OPINION
It seems Reds fans are very happy to see their promising winger depart on loan in order to aid Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard’s bid to bring glory to Ibrox next season. It’s interesting that one fan in particular described the Scottish Premiership as easy as it meant that he had effectively threw down a gauntlet by claiming that Kent needed to score goals for the Gers next season. The 21-year-old winger is an exciting talent capable of flourishing under Gerrard’s guidance if given regular playing time and it would be nice to see him rack up the goals. Kent had a loan spell at Championship side Bristol City last season and failed to score in any of the 11 appearances he made for the club, so he needs to prove that he is able to score regularly at senior level sooner rather than later.
