Before you all jump the gun, due to the selected photo for this headline, it is for Moreno and not DStudge! Which in my opinion, we should sell, although Bobby wont be happy, but maybe its ok now he has 2 Brazilians with him.

Would rather not sell Moreno to Barca and have to sign a new back-up lb, unless Adam Lewis is ready to make the step up

The reaction from Liverpool supporters isn’t really surprising. Moreno has been second choice for the better part of a year now, and never looked particularly convincing even when he was playing regular football. His time on Merseyside hasn’t been terrible, he’s just not quite lived up to the expectations placed upon him when he signed from Sevilla in 2014. If he wants to return to Spain then the move makes sense for him. But from a footballing point of view he would merely be swapping one back up role for another. If he’s unable to overcome Robertson at Liverpool then it’s unlikely he’d have much joy unseating Alba at Barcelona. The lure of the Nou Camp may prove too strong, though, and no Reds fan would be particularly sad to see him go. He’s served his purpose, but the club have massively upgraded with Robertson. Time to move on, eh Alberto?
