A section of Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to rave over Ryan Kent’s display in the 3-1 win over Rapid Vienna in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Kent – who is currently on loan at the Gers from Liverpool – was part of the side that saw off their Austrian opponents at the Ibrox, a victory that means that Steven Gerrard’s side remain unbeaten in Europe so far this season.
Many Rangers fans were delighted with the performance of their temporary winger, with some comments including “best player on the park for me” and “best player on that pitch.”

OPINION
It is hard not to agree with the Rangers fans in their assessment of Ryan Kent last night. Even though he did not get on the scoresheet for the Gers in this convincing win, he caused all sorts of problems by making runs at defenders all evening. That is just the sort of player that needs to maintain their form this season, as he could prove pivotal in bridging the gap between Rangers and Celtic. The supporters are right – he was the best player on the pitch on Thursday. Without him, they may not have had the attacking threat that they did. Every week, fans always have nice things to say about Kent, and now it is easy to see why. One fan even said that Rangers should sign him permanently from Liverpool – as based on his form, there is no way that they will want him to leave the Ibrox at the end of the season.
