I love Robertson and his pressing. But he sometimes comes in with too much speed leaving him exposed….needs to watch out against teams like City

OPINION
It is hard not to agree with the Liverpool fans and their assessment of Robertson in the first half against City. He was causing them all sorts of problems down the left flank, and he really made a positive contribution to the team’s attack. Liverpool have by far been the most efficient in that department so far, and they only have Robertson to thank for his delightful runs. One fan labelled him a “beast” while one branded him as a “really good defender.” They are not far wrong – he has certainly proved his worth after being promoted to first choice left-back last season, and he has definitely proved his credentials in such an important match for Jurgen Klopp. Based on these tweets, it is easy to see why the fans admire him so much – the ground he covers demonstrates just how hard he works for the team. He looks to be Liverpool’s left-back for many years to come – and as one supporter pointed out, it would be had to convince that there is a better player in the Premier League in his position.
