Liverpool slumped to a 2-1 defeat courtesy of Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday evening and the French giants did appear to really enjoy their victory as their celebrations were very noticeable.  This fact didn’t escape former Reds defender Djimi Traore who took to his Twitter account in order to have a cheeky dig over PSG and it was amusing to say the least. The 38-year-old centre-back played 141 times for the Reds during his playing career and was quick to point out that his former side had won the Champions League an impressive five times and that PSG should show some respect as a result. The French giants have never won the Champions League or lifted the European Cup (which it was known as before the rebranding in 1993) and no doubt would not have appreciated Traore highlighting the Reds’ record in European. However while they wouldn’t appreciate it, several Reds fans lapped up their ex-star’s latest tweet with one even wanting him to put his boots on in order to feature against Napoli.
