Alan Shearer instantly took to his Twitter account to deliver his verdict on Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Manchester United on Sunday.
The BBC pundit shared that he thought the Reds were the best team by a mile during their clash with Man United and proceeded to pan Jose Mourinho’s side.
Shearer pointed out that the body language of Man United players told you everything you needed to know, as they looked lost and out of ideas.

Shearer has no allegiances to Liverpool or Manchester United and his opinion can be taken at face value. The BBC pundit was clearly impressed by the Reds’ latest display even though they didn’t seem to be completely knocking it out of the park. The Reds looked like they were going to end up with a draw with Manchester United at times on Sunday as despite their dominance they couldn’t get the goal that would put them back in front. However Jurgen Klopp knows with the race for the Premier League title being so intense between them and Manchester City, they can’t afford to drop points. Luckily for the eccentric manager, he had Xherdan Shaqiri to call upon for the bench and the energetic winger came on and made the difference. While both of the Switzerland international’s took notable deflections in order to beat David De Gea between the sticks, it was his efforts to force the issue going forward that saw him rewarded.
