Some Liverpool fans loved the exchange between Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling and Leicester City goalkeeper Danny Ward that was spotted occurring when their respective sides battled in the League Cup on Tuesday. The cup clash between the two Premier League sides ended 1-1 and required penalties to find a winner. Man City ended up winning the shootout but Sterling missed his spot-kick after being a bit cheeky by attempting a Panenka penalty. The former Reds attacker tried to score that type of goal against fellow Liverpool alumni Ward who was between the sticks for Leicester City. After watching Sterling miss his penalty, Ward noticeably reacted to celebrate in the face of Sterling and appeared to be laughing. This exchange had several Reds fans saying Ward was forever a Red, due to their still being some ill feelings from fans how Sterling left Anfield,  while others just thought the Manchester City attacker had disrespected the keeper with his penalty attempt, so had it coming. Weirdly one Liverpool fan claimed it made their week.
