Bein SPORTS presenter Richard Keys has delivered a shock prediction for Liverpool’s visit to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
Keys is predicting a 1-1 draw between the two Premier League sides, while he also elaborated on the major mistake he feels Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has made after playing a weakened side in the defeat to Wolves in the FA Cup.
“I think Brighton can get something off them,” he told beIN SPORTS. “I think he’s gambled everything now on winning the title having gone out of the FA Cup, and that may come back to bite him.
“I’m going Brighton 1-1 Liverpool,” he finished.

Keys is certainly going out on a limb, here. You always wonder with these two whether they actually believe what they are saying or if it’s just to attract attention. Whatever the case, there’s no doubt that a draw is a bold prediction here. Liverpool will be huge favourites and rightly so. Keys does have a point, though. This game has suddenly become hugely important for the Reds. They are out of the FA Cup and they have suffered back to back defeats in all competitions. It’s vitally important that they get back on the horse here and so if Brighton can keep the score down early and take the wind out of the visitors sails somewhat at the AMEX Stadium then they could stand a chance of getting something from the game. It is difficult to see that happening, however. Liverpool just have so much attacking talent, who are well rested after largely missing Monday’s defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers, that the safe money is on a big away win.
