Liverpool winger Bobby Adekanye will join Lazio after being offered a contract worth £17,000-a-week, according to Football Insider.
The reputable football site reports that the 20-year-old will quit the Reds this summer in favour of a five-year deal that will triple his current wages.
His contract runs out at the end of the season, and the Serie A club are at the front of the queue to sign him after he was frozen out of the under-23 side.

Adekanye has obviously been tempted by the prospect of tripling his current wages, so a move to Lazio definitely seems to be on the cards this summer. He has been frozen out of the under-23 side, so the need to move clubs will obviously become even greater for the youngster. He realises that his opportunities at Anfield are going to come few and far between in the near future, whereas at the likes of Lazio, he is basically going to be guaranteed game time. To be honest, this will be a weight off Liverpool’s shoulders once he makes the expected swittch. This saga has been ongoing for a while now, and they will certainly want to see the back of it sooner rather than later. Adekanye has the potential to be a star for the Reds, but that does not seem like it will be case any longer after he was offered such a tempting deal.
