Bundesliga duo RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund are keen on Liverpool midfielder Rafael Camacho, according to Record.

The Portuguese news outlet reports on their website that the pair have joined the chase for the 18-year-old, joining the likes of Liga NOS outfit Sporting Lisbon and Premier League side Wolves, who are also interested in snapping the youngster up.

His contract expires in the summer of 2020 – when he will be available on a free – however, the Reds are likely to see him depart considering the amount of interest in him.

OPINION

The fact that two more clubs have joined the chase for Camacho makes offloading him even easier in the summer. He clearly does not want to be at the club, and they will need to sell him in this transfer window to prevent him leaving on a free transfer next year. It remains to be seen just where he will end up if he does depart, however, it would be a blessing in disguise for the club. In the two senior appearances he has made this season, Jurgen Klopp has played him as a right-back, when his preferred role is to play further forward. He clearly is not going to feature much in his plans considering the amount of talent that he currently has at his disposal, so selling him will benefit everyone involved. He has the potential to be a great player, but that does not look like it is going to happen at Anfield.
