It is safe to say that Liverpool’s attack is one of their main strengths, but that does not mean that there is some business to be done in this summer’s transfer window.

The majority of the Premier League no doubt envy the Reds’ attacking trio of Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane, but that is not to say that they should not add to their numbers.

If they want to become a formidable force in years to come, signing another striker should be a priority for Jurgen Klopp, without a shadow of a doubt.

The player that they should be looking at is Lazio’s Ciro Immobile. He has scored 17 goals in 35 games for the Serie A outfit, and seeing as the season is not even over yet, that number has the potential to rise.

In January, Italian outlet Il Messaggero reported that the Reds had scouted the in-form hitman, and they should definitely go in for him once again. With a tally like that, he is a player who they cannot afford to slip from their grasp.

At the age of 29-years-old, it is safe to say that Immobile is in his prime and is at the best he has ever been. Liverpool would be mad not to take advantage of that and make an addition that would make their strike force irresistable.

Just imagine the amount of damage he could cause alongside the likes of Mane, Firmino or Salah. It is a scary thought, but it will surely be one that will get the supporters drooling.

Should they sign him, they would almost certainly be guaranteed silverware next season. With a tally like that, it is clear that Immobile has a serious eye for goal that would be lethal for any team he came up against.

Over to you, Jurgen.
