Georginio Wijnaldum has taken to social media to send a motivational message to Liverpool fans ahead of their Champions League final tie with Tottenham.
The 28-year old has travelled with the rest of the Reds’ players to Marbella where they will take part in a training camp to prepare for their final in the coming weeks.
The £75,000-per week man (Source: Spotrac) has taken to Twitter to send a message to the Liverpool faithful ahead of the big day.
“Our preparations for the #UCL final will be underway soon!” said Wijnaldum from his personal Twitter account.
“Looking forward to a week of hard training in #Marbella.
“We’ll do everything we can to cap off this season with the trophy it deserves. #YNWA”

Wijnaldum, along with the rest of the Liverpool team, will no doubt be put to their paces at their Marbella training camp, and will be going through everything that they need to ahead of their Champions League final against Spurs. It is clear to see that the Liverpool players are well aware of the task ahead of them, and of the importance of bringing home a European trophy in the eyes of the Reds’ faithful. The 28-year old clearly believes that Liverpool are deserving of Champions League glory this season, and arguably it could be said that they deserve it a little bit more than Spurs, after only just missing out on the Premier League title by a single point. Wijnaldum was one of the main players to thanks for Liverpool fans after his impressive performance in the semi-final against Barcelona, and it was his two goals in that fixture which helped the Reds in their journey to the final. He will no doubt be hoping to do something similar in the final of the competition.
