OPINION
Liverpool attacker Divock Origi certainly seemed in the mood to continue his fine recent form for the club in the first half of their clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday. The Belgian produced a beautiful bit of skill early on in the game which got the crowd off their feet at Anfield, and overall he simply looked like a man possessed, as one supporter said. The difference in him from the player he used to be is night and day. He now appears comfortable with the pressing style of football that Jurgen Klopp demands and is able to implement it to the letter. We certainly saw that in the first half here. He’s not Roberto Firmino, we all know that, but he has shown himself to be a very capable deputy for any of the Reds’ front three this season. He’s proved his value over the past week alone and must now be considered a genuinely important squad member going into the next campaign; he showed that he’s worthy of that designation at least in the opening period on Sunday.
