OPINION
James Milner has been a stand-out performer for Liverpool this season, and will be hoping to continue his rich run of form in the Champions League final on June 1st, should he be picked in Jurgen Klopp’s starting eleven. The 33-year old has taken to Twitter to send a message to fans after the Reds arrived in Marbella for their Spanish training camp ahead of the Champions League final, and some Liverpool fans have reacted well to the social media message. In a post from his personal Twitter account, Milner said: “Ready for some hard work #trainingcamp”, much to the delight of the Liverpool faithful. Milner has featured 34 times this season for the Reds in the Premier League, and a further eleven times in the Champions League, scoring two goals and registering two assists throughout the European competition. He is arguably one of the most hard-working names on Klopp’s team sheet when he is involved, and Reds’ fans will no doubt be hoping that he will have some involvement in the Champions League final against Tottenham in the coming weeks.
