Liverpool winger Harry Wilson wants to have crunch talks with Jurgen Klopp after the Champions League final, according to Football Insider.

The outlet claim that the in-demand 22-year old is set to push for a permanent move away from Anfield this summer, assuming Klopp indicates he will be unlikely to push into the first team next season.

Football Insider also reported last week that Liverpool are ready to set a £25million asking price for the winger, who has attracted lots of interest from Premier League and overseas clubs.

Wilson has been heavily involved this season on loan at Derby County, scoring 18 goals and registering six assists over 49 appearances with the Championship club.

OPINION

Although it has been reported in recent weeks that the Welsh international could be on his way out of Anfield in the coming months, it’s certainly interesting that the player has reportedly requested for crunch talks with the Liverpool manager regarding his future, presumably once the Champions League final is all finished with. It’s safe to say that Wilson deserves a chance at the top level, and has earned his right to first-team football in the top flight, however i t seems unlikely that he is going to be getting this anytime soon with the Reds. It now seems likely that the Welshman is keen on a move away from the club, after suggesting that he wants to speak with the manager about his future, and considering the attacking assets that the Klopp currently has to work with in his main squad, it again seems unlikely that Wilson will be offered many first-team minutes next season in the Premier League.
