Adam Lallana took to his personal Instagram account to share he had been using the training facilities of Spanish club Real Mallorca in order to stay in shape during the summer break, and it didn’t go down well. Some Liverpool fans didn’t see the 31-year-old revealing he had been busy at work in the summer as a good thing, as several just used it as an opportunity to share they wanted him gone. A couple of Reds supporters suggested he joined Real Mallorca despite the Spanish club not being anywhere near one of Spain’s biggest sides. While Lallana may have only managed 16 appearances in his 2018/19 campaign, due to his continued injury problems, he didn’t deserve for such a negative reaction to occur from him revealing how he was trying to keep fresh ahead of pre-season. The 31-year-old’s injury record is worrying to say the least, he has suffered 11 separate injuries according to his Transfermarkt, but when fit he can be useful to Jurgen Klopp’s side. In his 2016/17 season, which was his last campaign not hit by a notable injury, he scored eight goals while assisting seven in his 31 appearances and averaged an impressive 45 passes per match (Source:Premier League).
