COMMENTARY
John Aldridge in his latest column for the Irish Independent suggested that Liverpool should consider signing Tottenham duo Heung-Min Son and Lucas Moura as well as consider a move for Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha. Yet despite all three being very talented players who have proven themselves in the Premier League, the only player many Liverpool fans wanted signed based on Aldridge’s suggestion was Son. The 26-year-old Tottenham attacker seemed to be highly-rated among fans of Liverpool, with one even claiming that he’d be a dream signing. Son scored 20 goals and assisted 10 in 48 outings in his 2018/19 season and regularly put in Man of the Match displays for Mauricio Pochettino’s side. So it’s easy to imagine him slotting into Jurgen Klopp’s side and making them even more formidable when going forward. However just like a couple of Liverpool fans below pointed out, it’s hard to imagine Spurs even considering selling Son to Liverpool, so while it’s easy to understand why Aldridge suggested his services, this move isn’t going to happen.

Son is very good player and deserve to spend £75m for him but I think Spurs will never let him leave in cost that lower than £90m
