OPINION
Mourinho and Wenger are absolutely right, here. The unwavering support from the Liverpool supporters was in full evidence on Saturday as they roared their team to victory from start to finish. There’s nothing quite like when the Reds fans all come together to belt out ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’, and you can see how moved the two men are in the video above. These are two managers who have no love for Liverpool. They competed fiercely against the club for many, many years with three different English teams between them. Yet they can’t help but respect and admire the support that the Reds’ faithful give their team each and every game. They were in full voice in Madrid, backing their team to the hilt, and they got their reward after witnessing their players come up short against Real Madrid a year ago. Credit to them for the backing they gave Jurgen Klopp’s team. Mourinho and Wenger were clearly very impressed.
