Raheem Sterling has taken to Instagram to send a message to Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.
The Reds hitman, who is set to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the week, posted a photo of himself alongside PSG golden boy Kylian Mbappe on social media.

England teammate and former Anfield colleague Sterling was quick to comment on how lethal the duo would be if they were to play together.
He said: “Eewww what a partnership that would be”.

He may be on his way out of the club, but that won’t stop Liverpool fans for getting excited over the prospect of Sturridge putting a kind word in Mbappe’s ear about life on Merseyside. The Frenchman is the hottest prospect in world football right now, and it would be an absolute dream were he to rock up at Anfield at any time during his fledgling career. He is destined to be the biggest star in the professional game, and a move for him would cement Liverpool’s place as the most imperious side in Europe. The reality of the situation is probably a whole lot less exciting. Sturridge could have met up with Mbappe in any number of places for any number of reasons, none of which are likely to be some covert mission to get him hankering for a move to England. Nonetheless, Liverpool fans will dream, and you cannot blame them for doing so.
