There are some nights that will live with football fans forever, regardless of who they support. Take Manchester City’s last gasp 3-2 win over QPR on the final day in 2012, or the miracle of Istanbul back in 2005 when Liverpool came from three down at half time to win the Champions League. The Reds’ 4-0 demolition of Barcelona in the semi-final of the competition this year comfortably falls into that category as well. 3-0 down after the first leg, facing one of the most formidable sides on the continent, that should, by rights have been that. But on one of those special European nights that seem to be amplified by the buzz of the Kop, the Reds found another level entirely and systematically took to pieces a truly great side. That in itself is enough to give you goosebumps just thinking about it, but an unwritten rule of the internet is that everything is twice as exhilarating with Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” dubbed over the top of it. And so it proves here, as shared by Twitter account Kloppholic. Try to watch Divock Origi calmly sweep home the fourth from Trent Alexander-Arnold’s quick corner without a shiver running down your spine. Can’t be done. Who knows, if the Belgian had been on the Titanic, maybe Leonardo Di Caprio wouldn’t have drowned.
