Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo is reportedly on the verge of joining Rangers on loan after being spotted at the Scottish club’s training ground on Monday. The Daily Mail has featured an image of Ojo, 21, driving into the Gers’ headquarters at Auchenhowie on their website. Rangers fans are drooling over the attacker’s imminent loan deal, which is odd considering how much he struggled last season during his temporary spell at Stade de Reims. While playing for the Ligue 1 club, Ojo managed just three league starts and only scored one goal in 18 appearances across all competitions. If the Rangers fans are hoping that Ojo is as good as, or better than, Ryan Kent then they are going to be disappointed. Ojo doesn’t have a patch on the 22-year-old, who lit up Ibrox with his displays last term. Ojo’s struggled to stand out in loan spells at Wolves, Fulham and Reims. He will have to improve massively in order to impress at Rangers.
