Some Liverpool fans were left baffled after Adrian Durham suggested that the club should be in for Wilfried Zaha and Gareth Bale due to their club not having much in reserve. The talkSPORT broadcaster, [23/07; 16:17], claimed that the Reds should be looking at signing the likes of Zaha and Bale, as he questioned what would happen if Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino or Sadio Mane got injured. It’s fair to say a section of Liverpool fans were confused why Durham doubted their squad’s depth and were not just baffled over being linked to Zaha and Bale, but were rather quite angry over the idea. One Liverpool fan claimed they couldn’t help but laugh at Durham’s suggestion, while others just took digs at the quality of Zaha and Bale. However, you feel one Liverpool supporter hit the nail on the head when he asked why Durham wasn’t suggesting the Reds’ Premier League rivals check out those attackers if he rates them so highly, as when you consider the Reds won the Champions League with their current squad and finished second, just one point behind Manchester City in the league last season, they shouldn’t be desperate to strengthen their squad.

Liverpool finished 2nd & won the UCL, Spurs finished 26 pts behind us Arsenal (27) Utd (31) why aren't these teams that finished way behind us buying them? They should concentrate on those teams? as for Origi he came off the bench to win us the UCL, after getting us to the final!
