This summer has been a quiet one at Anfield.

Apart from the signing of young Dutch defender Sepp van den Berg, Liverpool are yet to flex there muscle in the transfer market, and as deadline day continues to creep ever closer, it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise if the Reds weren’t too busy between now and then.

After all, Jurgen Klopp has built one of the most fearsome squads in Europe, and the Reds still look by far one of the most dangerous sides in the Premier League, even without any new additions.

Because of this, it would surely take a special player to convince Klopp to pile into the transfer market this summer, and there are few as special as Juventus trickster Paulo Dybala.

The Argentinian is a real class act, but has struggled to assert himself as the main man in Turin ever since Cristiano Ronaldo arrived from Real Madrid last summer.

Liverpool have been credited with an interest in signing him before, as reported by Tutto Mercato Sport, and it’s easy to see why.

Last term, even as he struggled to reach top form, the 25-year-old managed a pass completion rate of 89%, and an average of 1.5 successful dribbles and 1.5 key passes per game [Whoscored].

Dybala is a player who oozes class, and now, according to the Daily Mail, he could be available for as little as somewhere between £70-90 million.

If that is true then the Reds must pounce. Dybala is the kind of player who becomes available once every three or four seasons.

It’s surely now or never to snap him up.
