Liverpool have rejected a bid from Danish side FC Nordsjælland for Bobby Duncan, according to Sky Sports.
The 18-year-old striker switched from the Man City youth academy to Liverpool last summer and hit the ground running, scoring 23 goals in 26 games for the Under-18 side. He’s made five appearances for the Liverpool Under-23 side.
FC Nordsjælland are fourth in the Danish top-flight after six games but will have to look elsewhere for goals.
Sky tweeted the news on it’s official Premier League Twitter page on Tuesday morning.

VERDICT
Duncan – who is the cousin of Steven Gerrard – signed a three-year deal with Liverpool last summer and he’s highly regarded at the club. He scored 66 goals in the 2015/16 season at Man City but was frustrated at his lack of opportunities there and decided to sign with Liverpool, despite City offering him a lucrative contract. Duncan was given a chance to shine for the first-team in pre-season this year and scored his first senior goal against Tranmere. He took his chance smartly in the 6-0 win and reacted quickly when the ball broke to him on the edge of the six-yard box, firing the ball low past the Tranmere keeper. In the five games he played he more than held his own and according to stats site WyScout he boasted a pass success rate of 97% and an xG (expected goals) of 0.32 per 90 minutes. At 18-years-old a loan move would seem to make sense but it won’t be with FC Nordsjælland. The European transfer window is open until September
