Jurgen Klopp has been forced into utilising youngsters during pre-season, with Liverpool benefitting from introducing Reds’ starlets into the fold. Players such as Harry Wilson and Ryan Kent spent last season out on loan and came back to Anfield after standout years. Wilson guiding Derby County to the Championship play-off final last season, finishing as their top-scorer in the league with 16 goals from in behind the lone striker. The 22-year-old proved his worth in pre-season, especially against Lyon where he scored a long-range screamer from outside of the box. Despite his success, the Times journalist Paul Joyce revealed on his personal Twitter account that Bournemouth had agreed to a season-long loan for the Welsh international, who is to undergo a medical on the same day. Many Liverpool fans took to Twitter to respond to Joyce’s tweet, with the majority of them disagreeing with the decision made by the club to allow Wilson to leave, with one fan calling it a “terrible deal.”
