Much has been made of Liverpool’s inactivity in the summer transfer window.

While some are seeing it as an abject failure on Jurgen Klopp’s part, others are viewing it in a more positive light, trusting in the manager and his insistence that his squad has enough to pull itself through.

Ultimately, judgement will have to be reserved until later in the season, but regardless of where the Reds finish, it is difficult to imagine them going two summers without making an acquisitions.

And so, with one eye already on the end of the season, the Reds will be delighted to hear the latest report on Borussia Dortmund ace Jadon Sancho.

The Reds have been keen on the England international before, as reported by the Telegraph, and according to the Daily Mail, he is set to leave Dortmund next summer.

Since moving to Germany, Sancho’s stock has sky-rocketed.

For one thing, a new report from CIES Football Observatory values him at £145 million, and in the current market, it’s easy to see why.

Sancho has it all. The teenager hit 12 goals and assisted 14 more in the Bundesliga last season, as well as making 3.3 successful dribbles and 1.9 key passes, as per Whoscored.

Whoever snaps him up if and when he does move on will be getting a world class talent with potential to burn.

Liverpool have to make sure that they are at the front of that queue.

He wouldn’t come cheap, of course, but Sancho would be worth every single penny.
