Harry Wilson did not have the best of displays for Wales on Friday night as Ryan Giggs’ side won 2-1 against Azerbaijan in European Championships qualifying thanks to a late goal by Gareth Bale. He may have started the season well while on loan at Bournemouth but Liverpool’s forward was rather ineffective at the Cardiff City Stadium. Wilson should have been sent off in the first half and that is perhaps why so many fans on Twitter are blasting the loaned-out Anfield ace. The 22-year-old appeared to stamp on the leg of Richard Almeida after the Brazil-born Azerbaijan player went down to the ground. Wilson could have probably avoided contact because it wasn’t at a fast pace or anything, and neither was he off balance. Some fans on Twitter seem to agree that the Liverpool man should have been sent off in what could have been a pivotal moment in the qualifying campaign of both nations.

Disgraceful from Harry Wilson that was way worse than Andone challenge yet I’m sure the fans who said Andone never play again would love to sign Wilson if we get the chance
