One of Xherdan Shaqiri’s brightest memories in a Liverpool shirt will be the game when he came off the bench against Manchester United and scored twice to seal all three points at Anfield last season. The Switzerland international has struggled for game time under Jurgen Klopp, and has had to settle for the majority of his time on the pitch off the bench since joining from Stoke City, something he would clearly like to change, and quick. The rarely-seen 28-year-old has continued to find it hard to break through in Merseyside, only managing to complete 11 minutes in the Premier League this season. Liverpool posted a video of Shaqiri’s two goals against the Red Devils last season on their official Twitter account on Sunday afternoon, to which many Reds’ fans responded by urging Klopp to give the winger more time on the pitch and even start him moving forward.
