Not many Liverpool fans will remember West Ham United beating Everton in the FA Cup third round in 2015, but if they need a reminder, Adrian scored a penalty in the 9-8 shootout win – sending the Toffees packing. Whether it is possible to be a Reds’ legend before even playing for the club is debatable, but the Spanish keeper definitely almost cemented that status back in 2015 at Upton Park. Adrian has been in great form for Liverpool when deputising in Alisson Beckers’ absence, with the 32-year-old averaging 1.7 saves in the 10 games he has played according to WhoScored – with a large number of those being pivotal to securing three points in certain outings. West Ham posted the throwback video on their official Twitter account, to which Adrian responded with the message, “What a lovely night it was.” Many Liverpool fans responded to the Tweet from the Spaniard, with many left gushing about their keeper for his role in single-handedly beating Everton in the past.
