OPINION
A lot of Liverpool fans on Twitter are thrilled with Danny Mills’ combined XI for the Reds and Manchester United – because it has zero Manchester United players in it. Sky Sports News’ official Twitter account posted Mills’ selection on Monday and understandably, that led to a huge reaction from Liverpool fans across the world. It really is hard to argue with Mills on this. Although the former Manchester City and Leeds defender has been known to have a dig at Liverpool every now and then, he has redeemed himself here because how on earth could he name a single Man United player in a combined XI? Liverpool are top of the league with a perfect record. Man United are 12th, two points clear of the relegation zone after losing to Newcastle before the international break. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side is a mess at the moment and not one of them players would get into Jurgen Klopp’s starting line-up. Most of them would not even make it onto the bench.
