Clinton Morrison has heaped praise on Liverpool forward Sadio Mane, claiming that the Senegalese international is “unplayable” at the moment.

The £100,000-a-week ace [Spotrac] has been in fine form so far this term, hitting six goals in the Premier League, and speaking on Sky Sports’ The Debate (Thursday November 7th, Sky Sports Premier League, 10pm), Morrison was eager to hail him.

He said: “Mane at the moment, he’s unplayable.

“He looks world class. The way he’s playing, he is world class.”

OPINION

This one isn’t up for debate in the slightest. Mane is truly world class, and he is playing out of his skin at the moment. With an average of 2.3 shots, two key passes, and 1.5 successful dribbles per game in all competitions so far this season, as per Whoscored, he is a well-rounded and constant attacking threat, and playing against him must be an absolute nightmare for defenders. His perception of the game is second to none, and his intelligence in his movement is superb. So far this term, he has averaged a match rating of 7.45 in the Premier League, putting him right up there with the very best in the division. Don’t be surprised to see him in the running for player of the year accolades come the end of the season on both a domestic and global level.
