OPINION
Andrew Robertson is reportedly a doubt for Liverpool’s clash against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park later this month after the left-back was hit with an ankle injury. The Athletic journalist James Pearce reported the update on Robertson via his personal Twitter account on Tuesday and understandably, a lot of Liverpool supporters on Twitter are gutted with the “bad news”. Robertson has been immense for Liverpool this season and put in one of his best shifts yet at Anfield on Sunday when the Reds won 3-1 against title rivals Manchester City. It will be a big blow for the trip to Palace if Jurgen Klopp has to start James Milner at left-back, especially as the Eagles have pacey attackers like Wilfried Zaha, who could cause problems. Luckily, you see a lot of injury blows like that that are not too serious when it comes to the international break. Maybe Robertson is just taking some time off Scotland duty so that he can be fully-rested for the hectic festive period at Anfield.
Andy Robertson out of Scotland’s games due to an ankle injury. Similar problem to Mo Salah. Robertson regarded as a doubt for #LFC trip to Crystal Palace a week on Saturday.
