Liverpool are not in talks to sign Ryan Fraser from Bournemouth in January, according to The Athletic journalist James Pearce – and a lot of fans on Twitter are thrilled with the reporter’s update. TalkSPORT had claimed that the Reds were in advanced talks to sign Fraser, 25, in the winter window with the Scotland international’s contract set to expire at the end of the season. However former Liverpool Echo reporter Pearce has rubbished that notion, much to the relief of some fans. Fraser has not been in great form this season for the Cherries. He has more assists since the start of last season than any other Premier League player but that says more about how well he did last term rather than how well he is doing currently. Liverpool do not need to really sign anyone in January, especially when Fraser is available for free next summer if his contract is not renewed.
