Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp would be wise to make a trio of changes to his team for Saturday’s trip to Bournemouth.

The Reds eased to a fantastic 5-2 victory over their Merseyside neighbours Everton on Wednesday night, and the stars of that game deserve to keep their places.

With that said, Dejan Lovren, Georginio Wijnaldum and James Milner must all be dropped for Saturday, with Joe Gomez, Jordan Henderson and Mohamed Salah replacing them.

That means that players like Adam Lallana, Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi, who came in and starred against the Toffees, keep their place. This is a team that would likely smash the beleaguered Cherries.

First choice goalkeeper Alisson remains suspended after his senseless sending off against Brighton & Hove Albion last Saturday. That means that Adrian should start once again here.

Trent Alexander-Arnold was absolutely superb on Saturday and has to keep his place on the right hand side of the defence on Saturday. Andrew Robertson, meanwhile, should get the nod at left back once again.

Lovren produced a decent outing against Marco Silva’s side at Anfield, but with a big Champions League game coming up, Gomez must start alongside Virgil van Dijk in his place here.

In midfield, Henderson will almost certainly come back in. The England international absolutely has to start alongside Shaqiri and Lallana in the middle of the park.

It’s a similar story further forward, where Origi and Sadio Mane excelled on Wednesday. They should keep their places up front, with Salah coming in to join them.
