Plenty of Liverpool fans have been reacting to a video posted by Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards on Instagram (@perrieedwards), the girlfriend of Reds midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, showing the couple dancing around their home during their respective periods of self-isolation during the coronavirus outbreak.

The video, which was also shared by @LFCVine on Twitter, shows the couple performing a moonwalk and then shuffling up a small flight of stairs in perfect synchronicity, although it seems that some Kopites weren’t overly enthusiastic about seeing their player engaging in such choreography given his previous trouble with injuries.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has scored seven goals this season and was lauded by some Liverpool fans for his performance in Wednesday’s Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid, suffered a serious knee ligament injury in April 2018 that kept him out for an entire year. He also damaged ankle ligaments just before Christmas after an awkward fall sustained in the Club World Cup final victory over Flamengo.

These Liverpool supporters on Twitter begged for the 26-year-old not to get injured by indulging in dance routines like the one shared by his partner on social media yesterday:
