A number of Liverpool fans have reacted with horror to a leaked kit design hinting at the home shirt that the Reds could potentially be wearing next season.
Liverpool fan @deckygall on Twitter uploaded an image of the rumoured home shirt, which is primarily the same deep shade of red that the Merseysiders have worn in recent seasons, but has a lighter red shade on the sleeves along with narrow white patterns.
@Footy_Headlines have you seen this as a possible 20/21 jersey? pic.twitter.com/1cgi2MuQx8

The Reds will change kit supplier in the summer, with Nike set to replace New Balance from 1 June following a High Court battle between the latter and the Anfield club. The court ultimately found in Liverpool’s favour, declaring that Nike’s five-year £150m deal was more favourable despite an objection from New Balance, who claimed that the Reds had reneged on the terms of their partnership. A rumoured away kit for the 2020/21 campaign was leaked on Instagram last week, with many Reds fans disliking the predominantly teal design, and these Liverpool supporters on Twitter were also put off by the potential home shirt for next season:
