Plenty of Liverpool fans have scoffed at a report in the Daily Express outlining three players who the Reds could sign for free in the summer.
As noted by the Daily Express, Paris Saint-Germain full-back Layvin Kurzawa and Premier League wingers Ryan Fraser and Willian will all be out of contract at the end of the season and could therefore be money-saving options for the Reds in the transfer market. The report was subsequently shared on Twitter by @AnfieldEdition.
The Express has suggested three free agents that Liverpool should look at to save money this summer — Ryan Fraser (Bournemouth), Layvin Kurzawa (PSG) and Willian (Chelsea).

Kurzawa, a three-time Ligue 1 winner, could be a cost-free backup for Andrew Robertson, currently the only senior left-back in Liverpool’s squad, while Fraser and Willian are both experienced operators in the Premier League, with 120 games for Bournemouth and 226 for Chelsea respectively.
However, after a meagre outlay in the transfer market since the end of last season, some Reds fans aren’t keen on further scrimping to add to the squad this summer. One Kopite fumed that they would rather have Alberto Moreno back at Anfield, despite the Spanish left-back frequently coming in for criticism from the likes of Steve McManaman, Jamie Carragher and Roy Keane for a series of erratic displays during his time at the club:
I’d rather have Moreno back. Kurzawa is god awful at defending. Hope he either goes for a young player like Lewis or a player like Saka and Mcneill who could then be added LB cover while also being attacking options.
