A number of Liverpool fans have said they would like to see Tim Krul being signed by the Reds in response to a question posed by @AnfieldEdition on Twitter.

Following Adrian’s costly error against Atletico Madrid in Wednesday’s Champions League elimination, they asked Reds fans whether they thought Jurgen Klopp should keep faith in the Spaniard as his main backup to Alisson next season, or whether to stick with Loris Karius following his imminent loan return, promote another goalkeeper already at the club or bring in another alternative to the Brazilian.

Despite Norwich’s position at the bottom of the Premier League, Krul has turned in some impressive performances throughout the season. His tally of 96 saves is the fourth highest in the division and, with five clean sheets in 28 games (17.86% of games), he has a slightly better shutout ratio than Adrian’s three in 18 appearances (16.67% of games). The Dutchman was also the hero of the Canaries’ recent FA Cup triumph over Tottenham, with two saves in the penalty shoot-out taking his team into the quarter-finals. He has also saved three of the six penalties faced in the Premier League this term.

These Liverpool fans on Twitter believe he would be an ideal signing for the Reds as backup to Alisson:
