Plenty of Liverpool fans were left drooling over a “gorgeous” concept design of an alternative Reds shirt that was posted on social media.
Graphic designer @TDZNGraphics created a concept Liverpool away kit of black with gold trim, similar to one of the club’s goalkeeper shirts from this season, and the design elicited glowing praise from a lot of the Anfield faithful after it was shared on Twitter by @AnfieldWatch.

With the Premier League leaders switching their kit supplier from New Balance to Nike later this year, a number of rumoured kit designs have been doing the rounds on the Internet. Recently-leaked designs of a prototype home shirt and a rumoured teal and sky blue away kit drew plenty of negative reactions on social media.
However, numerous Liverpool fans were entranced by the black and gold concept design from @TDZNGraphics, with some Kopites going as far as calling for the idea to be sent to Nike and implemented by the sportswear giant next season:
