Plenty of Liverpool fans on Twitter have been giving their two cents on Dejan Lovren’s time at the club following a tweet from @AnfieldEdition asking supporters to give his Anfield career a rating out of 10.
The Croatian defender was part of last year’s Champions League-winning squad and has scored eight goals in 184 Reds appearances, although he has struggled for starts over the last couple of years and The Athletic’s James Pearce claimed on Twitter (@JamesPearceLFC, via @AnfieldEdition) that the club would be open to offers of £15m or more for him in the summer.
? 6 years
? 184 appearances
?? 8 goals
? 1 Champions LeagueIf Dejan Lovren leaves Liverpool this summer, what would you rate his career here out of 10? pic.twitter.com/YI1UVoTYUc

The 30-year-old scored a memorable stoppage time winner against Borussia Dortmund in an epic Europa League quarter-final in 2016 and has been at Liverpool for six years but has endured some galling days at the office in his Reds career, including error-strewn performances in heavy defeats at Tottenham in 2017 and Watford a few weeks ago.
There was a mixture of responses to the tweet from @AnfieldEdition calling for a rating out of 10 for Lovren’s Anfield tenure, with some fans appreciative of his efforts and others left frustrated with his tendency to make costly errors:
Probably a 4.
He’s produced some excellent performances and was very good for a spell alongside Sakho then Van Dijk but ultimately too many errors and woeful displays and stopped us going unbeaten twice.
Been here far too long as well. Likeable but never Liverpool quality.

People have forgotten Lovren’s performance in our Ucl run in 2018.
He was our best defender.
Let’s respect him

He’s been absolutely horrific, for the vast majority of his stay here. Should have been sold 4 years ago
