Plenty of Liverpool fans have vented their disgust after a rumoured away kit for next season was leaked online.

As noted by Empire of the Kop (@empireofthekop), Twitter user @esvaphane posted images of the rumoured 2020/21 away shirt, a multi-hue combination with shades such as teal and sky blue. According to Empire of the Kop, the leak originated from Footy Headlines and could therefore be reliable as that website commonly gets genuine new kit designs first.

Liverpool will be wearing Nike designs from the start of next season as they supplant New Balance as the club’s kit supplier following the latter’s five-year association with the Reds, whose new kit manufacturer are paying £150m over a five-year period for the rights to the contract. As reported by The Guardian, there was even a legal battle between Liverpool and New Balance over the rights, with the High Court finding in the Anfield club’s favour after the latter claimed that they had reneged on their partnership.
