A number of Liverpool fans have been enjoying a viral video showing a young Reds supporter showcasing his skills against cardboard versions of Virgil van Dijk and Alisson.

Leigh Cooper (@leighcoops7) posted a video on Twitter showcasing young George repeatedly scoring past replicas of the Dutch defender and Brazilian goalkeeper in his back garden and displaying some impressive trickery. At one point, George coolly nutmegged the replica of Van Dijk before dispatching the ball to the goal net in his garden. Shortly afterwards, he performed some stepovers before again firing to the net.

The feats of dribbling past Van Dijk and scoring past Alisson have been quite irregular in this season’s Premier League. The centre-back has an average of being dribbled past on only 0.2 occasions per game while the goalkeeper’s tally of 10 clean sheets is the joint-second highest in the division and he has been beaten only 11 times in 20 league games in the current campaign.

The video was shared by The Athletic reporter James Pearce on Twitter (@JamesPearceLFC) and these Liverpool fans loved the footage of young Reds supporter George displaying his talents in his garden:
