Liverpool fans have been lauding Harvey Elliott once again after the on-loan youngster added another assist to his tally this weekend.
The 17-year-old produced the delicate free-kick to produce the Blackburn Rovers equaliser against table-topping Norwich City on Saturday, his 10th league assist this term.
Add to that his five league goals and it’s safe to assume the teenager is more than holding his own in the competitive second tier.
Elliott currently lies second in the league assist charts, two behind highly regarded Argentine Emilian Buendia.
Kopites have been casting a keen eye on the prodigy’s progress all season with a view to perhaps integrating the talented teen into Jurgen Klopp’s first-team plans next season.
These Reds certainly think Elliott has what it takes to save the club a small fortune over the summer…
Never been a fan of “assist stat”, be good to have him back at Liverpool next season though, has a good creative spark that we lack in a lot of games.
