Jurgen Klopp‘s agent Marc Kosicke has insisted the Liverpool manager is ”not finished with his work” on Merseyside.

Following a dramatic decline in form recently there was speculation suggesting the German boss could leave the club prematurely.

There was further speculation last week when Germany national team manager Joachim Low announced that he would step down from his role after this summers European Championships – many claiming Klopp would be in line to take over.

After distancing himself from that position and reiterating his own commitment to Liverpool, where he is contracted until 2024, Kosicke has doubled-down on Klopp’s future:

“He’s not finished with his work in Liverpool,” he told German publication Sport1.

“There is no back door open because Jurgen still has a three-year contract with the Reds.

“He made this very clear so that there would be no room for speculation.”

Since reaffirming his status as Anfield chief, his side have sen an upturn in fortunes, picking up back to back wins with clean sheets to boot.

L4L’s VIEW

There was never any doubt whether Kopites believed Klopp was the man to see them through what was an unparalleled tricky spell.

Having brought so much joy, passion and above all, success to the Reds in his time in charge – the likeable German has already achieved god-like status on Merseyside and it’ll be music to Kopites’ ears to hear he isn’t done yet.
