The 17-year-old has been enjoying a remarkable season in the Championship with the Lancashire club and has been performing way above his years, impressing manager Tony Mowbray along the way.
Amassing five goals and nine assists in 29 league outings, Elliott is showing signs of future stardom, with Liverpool already perhaps lining up a place in Jurgen Klopp’s first-team plans next season.
Whether the talented teenager needs another season out on loan to further develop, or whether a pre-season with the Reds will see him earn his place among the stars – many Kopites are allowing themselves to get excited over what the future may hold for a player who is seemingly full of confidence, with no shortage of ability.
