Liverpool fans have been made to wait for the first glimpse of Ben Davies as a Red since his dramatic deadline day arrival, and Jurgen Klopp has today addressed the former Preston North End man’s situation.
With Liverpool in desperate of central defenders, Davies was signed alongside Ozan Kabak who arrived on-loan from Schalke.
However, whilst 20-year-old Kabak has made six outings since arriving on Merseyside, Davies still waits patiently for his debut.
Granted, the delay has been partly due to a knock suffered in training recently, but eyebrows were raised when Klopp confirmed the 25-year-old was fit, before omitting him from a matchday squad altogether.
Now, the German has discussed the centre-back at his pre-match press conference ahead of Monday night’s trip to face Wolves (via James Pearce Twitter).
Klopp on Ben Davies' wait for a debut: "Ben is a really good player but he has to get used to all the stuff here. I don't tell Ben he has to just train until the middle of May and we see. It will take as long as it takes."

It’s no secret that historically, Klopp likes to work with new arrivals before throwing them into the deep end, a luxury ill-afforded with Kabak due to the number of injuries.
Potentially a hint towards seeing Davies at some point in the near future, or just a nod that patience is the watchword.
These Kopites have discussed the situation…
well I mean what was the point in signing him then
