Liverpool have been linked with a wealth of midfielders in recent weeks, but one name that keeps cropping up is that of Rodrigo de Paul.
That was the case again this week as Italian publication Tutto Udinese claimed the Reds are competing with Barcelona for the €50m (£43m) signature of the Argentine.
The 26-year-old is renowned for his creativity from midfield and could help Jurgen Klopp add another dimension to an industrious midfield.
In 27 Serie A appearances across all competitions, De Paul has created 18 big chances (Sofascore), six of which were converted.
By way of comparison, potential outgoing midfielder Gini Wijnaldum has created just one big chance in 29 Premier League outings.
These Kopites on Twitter certainly want to see the Udinese ace on Merseyside…
