Florian Wirtz has had a challenging start to life in the Premier League but former manager Alan Pardew believes we will soon see his best abilities.

Speaking live on talkSPORT, Pardew says he believes that Wirtz will soon find his feet at Liverpool and in the Premier League.
The former Newcastle United coach says the German international is too good not to, at some point, find his bearings on Merseyside.
Pardew said: “I mean, Wirtz, who has had a terrible start, I have seen enough of him at Leverkusen to know that that boy between now and Christmas will find his feet somewhere because he is that good.
“So it will be interesting to see how he develops.”

Last season, Wirtz was sensational for Bayer Leverkusen as his 16 goals and 15 assists prove. His start to life at Anfield has been underwhelming, perhaps, but he’s not the only new Liverpool signing struggling to make an impact.

Wirtz, to be fair, has been a lot better than he gets credit for and just needs the goal contributions for the rest of his game to receive the credit deserved.
